There are multiple methods for replacing missing teeth:
- Implants: Dental implants are a permanent replacement method for missing teeth, and can replace, one, many, or all your teeth. A titanium post is placed in the jaw and a crown is placed on top where the tooth was.
- Fixed bridges: A bridge is normally used to replace one or more missing teeth. Using the teeth either side of the gap as anchors, a bridge helps to ensure that there are no gaps in your smile.
- Removable dentures: Dentures can be either a temporary or permanent solution to missing teeth that can be removed from the mouth at will. FDP can construct all types of dentures, including acrylic, chrome, and flexible valplast. These can also be constructed to fit dental implants (see above) for added security and reassurance.
